Andres Hefti is a partner of Multiplicity Partners and the Portfolio Manager of the LTO Fund family. He joined the firm in 2013 and built up its capabilities to identify, analyse and execute investment opportunities in hard-to-value assets. He oversees the firm’s secondary investments in tail-end portfolios and niche strategies and is responsible for deal origination. Andres has more than 20 years of experience in private markets, distressed investing and portfolio management.
Previously, Andres was the Chief Risk Officer and responsible for Investor Relations at Active Alpha, a multi-strategy hedge fund. Between 2005 and 2010 he was at Horizon21 where he played an important role in building up the direct investments business which later became Active Alpha. He held roles in investment management, risk management and business development gaining substantial hands-on experience across various asset classes, ranging from credit products to natural resources and insurance-linked securities. Andres started his career at the Man/RMF investment group as a portfolio manager of a fund of funds and as a quantitative analyst/financial engineer.
Andres holds a MSc in Mathematics from the University of Zurich. He is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM). Andres received the accreditation of Certified Investment Fund Director (CIFD) in 2016.
